Christy Jackson, CPC, CPC-I, CCVTC, CEMC

Christy Jackson is passionate about introducing others to the intricate world of coding and billing and simplifying it in a form that all can understand. Christy has 23 years of experience as a coder, auditor, and educator. She has been a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders since 2001 and stands by the AAPC’s © Code of ethics. Her professional experience consists of reviewing provider’s documentation and implementing education and process improvement to ensure that the provider’s comply with HIPAA regulations and falls within the scope of the OIG workplan. Christy has spent the last six years teaching and preparing future coders to pass the Certified Professional Coding (CPC) © certification exam. She has successfully maintained a 90% passing rate from her students and many have gone on to successful medical coding careers. Christy is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and reach their full potential.
